ALESSIA (24) AND ALESSIO (23) ARE GRISONS’ YOUNGEST CONCIERGES. They have been working at Carlton Hotel St. Moritz for two and three years respectively. The two have put together a 48-hour itinerary for a perfect stay in their adopted Engadine home town of St. Moritz.
10:00 am – TIME FOR THE FIRST ADVENTURE
After an extended breakfast at your hotel suite overlooking a frozen Lake St. Moritz and the Alpine scenery, it’s time for a first adventure: Our Carlton outdoor butler will take you to some of St. Moritz’s nicest spots, on a paragliding trip, or he will build a snowman with you and your family. Just let him know what you have in mind, and he will make all necessary arrangements. If it was up to us, we would probably opt for a coach tour to Lej da Staz, where we would take a short stop to feed the birds (right from our hands). Wrapped in warm covers, the coach then takes guests through a snowy fir forest, while they sip on homemade mulled wine or hot chocolate.
1:00 pm- LUNCH AT MUOTTAS MURAGL PANORAMA RESTAURANT
People get hungry in the brisk mountain air. A lunch at the Muottas Muragl panorama restaurant will satisfy your hunger and treat you to a breathtakingly beautiful view of St. Moritz at the same time. After lunch, it is time to get back into the warmth of the hotel.
3:00 – 5:00 pm – COOKING MASTER CLASS
For the afternoon, we recommend you attend our Cooking Master Class, a special Carlton highlight. You will spend two relaxed hours in the company of the Da Vittorio-St. Moritz head chef (holder of one Michelin star and 18 Gault&Millau points) and prepare an exclusive eight-course meal in a small group. He will let you in on some of haute cuisine’s best kept secrets and share his tricks with you.
5:30 pm – SPA
After finishing the preparations for the meal, you could rest in our 1200 m2 spa. Our personal tip: The Fully Individual treatment. Our therapists will cater for your individual needs using various treatment methods. The combination of all-natural products and our therapist’s expertise ensure excellent results and lasting relaxation.
8:00 pm – DINNER AT DA VITTORIO – ST. MORITZ
Start the evening off with a glass of Champagne and enjoy the eight-course meal you helped prepare in your Cooking Master Class.
8:00 am – WORKOUT
Early-morning workout: The Carlton spa team will put together a perfect session for you. The range of options include personal training, back muscle training, stretching, yoga, Pilates, and aqua fitness.
9:30 am – BREAKFAST
The breakfast buffet at the Romanoff restaurant is a superb reward after your workout.
11:00 am – SNOWMOBILE TOUR OR GO FOR A WALK
After breakfast, a snowmobile tour will add some action to your second St. Moritz day. If you prefer to take it slowly, we recommend a walk across the frozen lake. The sun at mid-day will serve as a welcome companion during a light lunch on the Carlton sun terrace.
3:30 pm – AFTERNOON TEA
A classic afternoon tea on our Bel Etage could provide the ideal refreshments before you hit the slopes on a night skiing tour. Make sure to taste the sandwiches, scones, and petit-fours. Gentle piano sounds and crackling fires in the two historical fireplaces will round off the British experience.
7:00 – 9:00 pm – CORVATSCH NIGHT SKIING
Snow Night Corvatsch: The image of the brightly lit Corvatsch slope is iconic. Every Friday, there is a public snow night. On all other evenings of the week, the night slope can be booked by individual guests. An unforgettable and truly unique Corvatsch skiing experience.
9:30 pm – PRIVATE CANDLE LIGHT DINNER
A private candle light dinner is the perfect ending to a perfect stay St. Moritz. There are several locations you can choose from: Petit Romanoff, our Empire Ballroom, or St. Moritz’s larges suite which boasts a 360° Alpine view.
We look forward to welcoming you at 1’800 metres above sea level. Have a pleasant stay in St. Moritz!
