The Fête des Vignerons dates back to 1797. This summer, the Vevey region on Lake Geneva will celebrate the twelfth edition of the unique festival. The town’s Grand Hôtel du Lac is proud to be its sole official five-star partner hotel. For the duration of the festivities – between 1 July and 11 August – the hotel’s pool and garden area will serve as a very special pop-up lounge – Switzerland’s first «Buddha-Bar Beach by buddha-bar™». An enticing mix of Asian, Oriental, and Mediterranean dishes and drink creations will be served, and the Buddha-Bar’s signature ethno-electric rhythms and sounds will create and extraordinary atmosphere.
“The Grand Hôtel du Lac is an institution. It has treated its guests with outstanding service in an exceptional location for 150 years,” says Tarja Visan, Buddha-Bar co-founder and owner. “We are proud to be able to add a chapter to this success story.”
Grand Hôtel du Lac Director Luc Califano adds, “We would like offer a memorable experience to young and discerning visitors of the “Fête”. The pop-up bar will take our guests on a gourmet journey around the world.”
