Arosa is a paradise for skiers in winter and for hikers in summer. And as of late, it is one for bears, as well: Four of them live in “Arosa Bärenland”, a preserve that was established at the middle station of the Weisshorn aerial lift in 2018. The park is the latest of Arosa’s many great summer attractions.
The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is an excellent place to start becoming acquainted with and enjoy the Arosa region. Its distinctive architecture and beautiful location goes hand in hand with its many extra services. Guests feel immediately welcome when they step into the warm atmosphere of the beautifully designed entrance hall and lobby. The service and features of the hotel effortlessly combine tradition and modernness and emanate elegant Swissness. “Both local and international guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere at our hotel and consider its Swissness a sign of quality,” explains Stefan Noll, Tschuggen Grand Hotel General Manger. Mario Botta’s sources of inspiration for the oasis included the geometry of nature, warmth, rock formations, light, and water. The pools mirror the Alpine granite of the walls and invite guests to bathe, swim, and tread water. Guests who would like to feel the clear Arosa air on their skin will enjoy the outdoor pool and its waterfall.
